The concert will start at 8pm and doors will open at 7pm. Genesis ReTouched provides a unique experience by recreating the look and feel of a late 80's to late 2000's Genesis concert, a time when the band was at the height of their popularity. Genesis ReTouched plays the hits of their best-selling albums - Duke, Abacab, Mama, Invisible Touch, and We Can't Dance - while also touching an older classic material just like Genesis did during their worldwide sold-out shows.
Genesis was home to some of the finest musicians of the 20th and 21st centuries, so filing these spots is no easy task. Genesis ReTouched is fronted by Adam Wheeler, who tackles not only the voice of Phil Collins, but his incredible drumming duties as well. On Keyboards is Jim Questa, providing the sounds and textures of Tony Banks. Matt Wiles holds down the bass, bass pedal and guitar duties of Mike Rutherford to round out the 3 members of Genesis through our target time period. And just as Genesis did for their live shows, the band is completed by Clark Connley covering the guitar duties of Daryl Stuermer and Devon Leigh convincingly reproducing the parts played by Chester Thompson.
However, a Genesis show was more than just music. Their use of Vari-lights and concert quality sound continuously set the bar for live rock shows for decades. Genesis ReTouched production brings to life the amazing qualities of an arena or stadium Genesis show to mid-sized theaters and larger so the audience will have that similar experience.
With faithful musical reproduction, CD quality live sound, and cutting-edge lighting, Genesis ReTouched brings the true essence of the late 80's to the late 2000's Genesis shows to theaters and arenas for fans to enjoy and remember once again. It's the goal of Genesis ReTouched to keep the Genesis legacy alive for fans today and tomorrow.
