We're back at it for year 2 of Deadstock - Bay City's premier (and only) all-day OUTDOOR Micro-music festival featuring original music from local talents, spoken word poetry, food and art vendors, and - of course - vintage clothing from Bonejacked.
Doors will open for the event at 11am on August 23rd with the first musical act taking the stage at 12:15pm. Bring a chair, beverages, and a sunny disposition. Musical acts range from singer/songwriter acoustic to full-blown modern grunge and hard rock. All groups will be performing original songs.
Entry will be $15 for the event. Guests will be asked to sign a basic activity waiver upon entry.
THIS IS NOT A GRATEFUL DEAD EVENT
What to bring;
- We will have a water fill up station, but bringing your own is encouraged
- Sun block is always a good idea
- We'll have a small shaded sitting area, so bring a chair if that's more your speed
- BYOB, and consume responsibly
- RESPECT! Both for yourself and those performing.
- A mouth guard if you're planning on getting in the pit
What to expect;
- Food vendors on-site
- Cold drinks from local cafes
- Local art and craft vendors
- Live original tunes all day long
- A midday intermission featuring poetry readings from local writers
- A great time supporting our local arts and music scene
$15 is for entry only, which includes a full day of music and hanging out with cool people. Re-entry throughout the day will be permitted with hand stamp. Food and vendor goods will be an additional cost. Water fill up station is free for everyone to use.
