Join us at Spirit Horse Center May 30, 31 and June 1 as we explore a comprehensive weekend designed to set you and your equine partner up for a safe and enjoyable trail riding season. This clinic would also be very beneficial to senior horses needing enrichment and youngsters not yet started under saddle.
Clinician and Reach Out to Horses Certified Holistic Horsemanship Trainer and Instructor Staci Grattan will guide you as you explore a potentially new point of view in horsemanship and connection. Participants will be working with their horses to explore new viewpoints, giving the horses a voice and a choice, safe and ethical desensitizing, trust based leadership and compassionate communication and
Dates and curriculum:
Friday evening May 30th 6pm-9pm – Introduction to the weekend and a lecture and demonstrations on Complimentary & Supportive holistic products and practices that will aid you and your horse as you head into the 2025 Riding Season. Including but not limited to riding and telepathy, animal communication, calming nutrition, homeopathic products and essential oils, crystal therapy, customized bach flower essences and more.
Saturday May 31st 9am-5pm
Morning – TLC Ground work exercises designed to build trust and communication, find the holes in training and areas of concern and more.
Afternoon – Kind, compassionate and effective Spook Busting (no flooding) designed to build trust, deepen relationships, find holes, open up new communication pathways and more.
Sunday June 1 9am-5pm
Morning – In hand obstacle course. Taking all we have learned on day one, we advance with the in hand obstacle course. Continuing on our trust building journey and benefiting the horses by presenting things they will encounter out on the trail under saddle.
Afternoon – Problem Solving – addressing areas of concern using all we have been working with up to this point – behavioral issues on the ground and under saddle. If you have no behavioral concerns we can up the ante to one of your bucket list items like riding bareback, bitless and more.
