Inspired Creative Living Art Therapy has invited Kelly from WEAVING WITH NATURE to 'The Deck" in Bauple. Kelly will guide and teach you weaving skills and you will make and take home your own beautiful unique gift for someone else or just a treat for yourself.
You may choose which woven item from the examples available for inspiration, and Kelly will guide you over three hours to complete your piece to take home with you.
A kit of plain and coloured raffia and needle will be yours to keep and take home. Extra raffia will be available to purchase in case you would like to continue your weaving at home or start new projects.
What to bring
• No need to bring anything as all materials are provided, however if you would like to bring any spare wool, lace, buttons, beads or materials to incorporate into your weaving please feel free.
• An attitude of “there is no wrong- just different”
This class is great for absolute beginners or even if you don’t consider yourself crafty or arty.
The price is $65 per person and includes tea and coffee and morning tea. We will finish at 12.30. Gluten Free and Vegan options will be supplied for morning tea.
There is a lovely park in Bauple township next to the museum. You may wish to bring your lunch and picnic in the park after the workshop and even take a look around the very interesting Bauple Museum.
