Cardiovascular Institute of the South (CIS) is hosting a free vascular screening on Friday, May 23rd from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at 8401 Picardy Avenue.
Guests will receive complimentary thermal imaging screenings. A thermal imaging scan uses new technology that can detect venous insufficiency. Results will be reviewed on site by Dr. Gavini.
N OTE: Please wear shorts or pants that can be pulled up above the knee.
Risk factors of vascular disease include family history, high cholesterol, high blood pressure and diabetes, as well as smoking, being overweight or being inactive.
