New Comedian of the Year Competition - Heat 2

We're bringing some of the best new talent together to crown one of them our New Comedian of the Year, and you get to choose them!

All of the acts in our competition began performing since 2020, which in comedy years makes them a toddler!

We've got 4 heats. each heat will comprise of 8 acts and you, the audience, get to pick the winner! There is also a judging panel to pick a second act to go through from each heat. The 8 finalists will then battle it out in our grand final to win the title. They'll also win a £300 cash prize thanks to our superb sponsor, 1931 in Birstall, a coaching session with the highly respected comedy writer Rob Halden, who has written for Mock The Week, Comedy Central and The Apprentice: You’re Fired!, and finally they'll get a paid spot at one of our shows in 2026.
