Hellebores Open Garden Event 2026

Visit this wonderful display of stunning hellebores at Kapunda Plants at Southstoke in Bath.

Entry is £7 with all proceeds going to Dorothy House. Children aged 16 and under are free of charge but there is no family rate. Car parking is available.

We'll also have delicious refreshments for sale in aid of the hospice and there'll be plants for sale too!

Pre-registration is optional, you're welcome to pay at the door on the day.

Please note a 92p service charge from Eventbrite will be added to your ticket.

Hospices are facing unprecedented financial challenges across the UK, closing beds and struggling to fund their core services. Despite our best efforts and the incredible support of our communities, Dorothy House is not immune to this. Rising costs, a National Insurance hike and stagnant government funding which only covers 20% of our total costs, are having a major impact on our financial sustainability.

We will campaign for change to ensure hospices are able to secure fair, long-term funding solutions. However, we have an immediate critical fundraising shortfall which the recent government announcement of a one-off cash injection will not completely address. We need your support now to help protect our vital core services.

By helping us raise funds today and standing together with us in the face of adversity, you can help protect vital core services now and into the future. Visit this two-acre garden on the edge of Bath, specialising in the growing and propagation of Lenten Roses – helleborus x hybridus.

The Hellebores put on their wonderful display in late February & throughout March.

The garden will be open to visitors on 1st March 2026, supporting Dorothy House.

A number of stunning hellebores will be on sale.
