Community Nature Haven Launch - Afternoon Session

You are invited to join Sarah Skeels @frontgardens.forwildlife, to celebrate the launch of the Lambridge and Walcot Community Nature Haven! Following the morning session 10-12 in Larkhall Square, BA1 6FA, in the afternoon at Alice Park Community Garden, there is a FREE family-friendly drop-in ‘Introduction to Wildlife Gardening’ workshop, sharing lots of ways you can make your patch more wildlife friendly…think mini ponds, wildflower seed sowing, bee-brick making etc. plus explore the community garden itself for ideas. There will also be some inspiring short talks from local initiatives, to show us what we can achieve if we come together.
No need to book, just turn up. All welcome, children to be accompanied by an adult please. Alice Park Community Garden is accessible, if you have any questions please do get in touch.
Sarah explains the concept “Made up of all the green spaces our local area, including private gardens, parks, schools, allotments, community spaces and council-owned land, the Community Nature Haven idea encourages the whole community to work together, to prioritise wildlife, by increasing habitat and connectivity, tackling the climate and biodiversity crises.
