History of Wine: Interactive Wine Exploration and Tasting

Jeff brings his vast knowledge and dynamic presence to Batesville for this very special evening! Come explore the history of wine and the wild path of viticulture over the past 100 years. We'll taste through 5 wines that speak to each stage in the development of the wine world, presented by wine expert Jeff Dion.

Prior to landing in Charlottesville, Jeff spent time in South America, where he learned to make wine in Argentina. Once he moved to Cville, Jeff served as a wine rep, then moved into the hospitality industry on the restaurant side. Jeff also founded Discover the East, hosting terroir-driven wine & culinary trips on the East Coast.

Ticket price includes class, tastings, charcuterie, materials and special order discounts for wines featured. Limited spaces available. Must be age 21+. Doors at 6:30; class beginms at 7pm.
