Handicapping Contest (August 2025)

Join us for our third Handicapping Contest of 2025 inside the historic Clubhouse & Rail Bar to celebrate Travers Stakes Day!

Entries are $20 each; patrons must select a horse in races at Acqueduct and Gulfstream. One bet per race, $10 Free Play per entry. Max 2 entries per person. Entries are CASH ONLY!

Sign up to enter between 2:30-3:30 PM outside of the Clubhouse at Batavia Downs; the event begins at 4 PM!

The Clubhouse will open at 3 PM for wagers and drinks.

1st Place - 50% of entry fees (up to $2,000) + two tickets to a concert at KeyBank Center
2nd Place - 25% of entry fees (up to $1,000) + two tickets to an event at Blue Cross Arena
3rd Place - 17.5% of entry fees (up to $750)
4th Place - 7.5% of entry fees (up to $250)
