Concrete Plant Zoning Hearing Batavia Ohio

This coming Monday a hearing for zoning to allow a CONCRETE PLANT to be built on Taylor Road. The plant will cause water and air pollution, dramatically lower property values, be an eyesore, and cause noise and heavy truck traffic if allowed.

Please attend the zoning meeting; there is still time and the opportunity to stop this. Monday, April 28, 5:30 pm, 1535 Clough Pike, Batavia.

Please spread the word and attend. Be civil, clear, and present. There is nothing wrong with business development, but NOT something that brings down property values, pollutes with cancer-causing chemicals, and disrupts the neighborhood.

Plants like this have a long record of not meeting even the minimum environmental standards and polluting. Even when caught, sometimes it's cheaper to pay fines than to operate cleanly.
