Discover fascia rolling techniques to clear up tension from common areas of tightness in your body so as to feel freer and more comfortable.
Myofascial release works on your Myofascia (muscles+fascia tissues); the long fibrous pathways of connective tissue that contract and adhere from poor postural habits, sudden or repetitive strain, muscle injury, structural imbalances, habitual movement (or lack thereof.)
This type of self care aims to relax muscles, improve blood flow and lymphatic circulation, reduce stiffness, increase hydration in the body tissues and help release adhesions.
This therapeutic workshop begins with a brief introduction on Myofascial Release, followed by a guided MFR session using balls. This is a self practice designed to release the stuck or restricted spots in common “tight” areas in the body so that you can be equipped with simple and effective tools to try on your own to support your overall health.
Once we feel more at ease in our bodies, you’ll be invited to get super comfy and relax while you receive a soothing sound bath of tibetan signing bowls, chimes, and more .
NOTE: Please bring a blanket, a hard pillow or bolster (if you have one) a small towel and a mat with you
Balls for myofascial release will be provided.
