You passed the Beginner Handgun Course — now it’s time to graduate into real-life training. Our Concealed Carry Course is designed to bridge the gap between the classroom and real-world scenarios so you can carry with confidence, skill, and control.

Try and arrive a few minutes before class time to sign range waivers and pay $15 range fee. I will meet you in the lobby of 407 Gun Club for waivers and range fee. 407 Gun Club Lobby is a barn looking building with a TV monitor on it at the far back of the parking lot and it faces FM 407. It is BEHIND 407 BBQ.
This class is designed to develop safe & well-rounded citizens who believe now is the time to consider having a firearm with them. You may have received your Texas License to Carry but “HOW do I carry”?
Conceal with Confidence is a BEGINNER class that has you drawing from concealment, shooting and problem solving. This is also known as scenario based training or dynamic shooting. Rarely will you be using a firearm in self-defense on a flat range against a flat piece of paper. THIS is where training BEGINS!
Included will be:
1. Review of safety and fundamentals.
2. Proper range etiquette (what to expect) for a live fire class, this being the 1st for many aside from your LTC (License to Carry).
3. Essentials of great & not so great concealment options based on your personal body type.
4. How to safely draw and return to concealment, before adding in live fire.
5. Then we take it “live fire” to practice and implement skills learned in a slow and controlled environment. Speed comes later.
EXPERIENCE LEVEL:
1. Safe handgun skills is the #1 PRIORITY.
2. A license to carry is helpful but not required.
3. Basic handgun knowledge. Load, unload, show clear, etc. This is NOT a “1st shots” class. It is a “1st shots from holster class”.
EQUIPMENT NEEDED:
1. Working handgun. Revolvers require special holsters. This class is best for semi-automatic handguns. Please reach out with questions.
2. 75 ish rounds of “target” ammunition. Questions? Email me or just know it's available for purchase at the range. No stress!
3. Eye & ear protection. I have plenty to loan if you don’t have yours yet.
4. OWB/IWB Holster (Outside the waistband, inside the waistband) or concealment option. IF YOU DON’T HAVE ANYTHING YET, IT’S OKAY! We have holsters for you to try out. This is also a great class if you’re wanting to try different concealment holster options before you buy.
FOR SAFETY REASONS: THESE ARE NOT ALLOWED
• Bra holsters
• Soft side collapsible holsters (you CAN use a bellyband)
• Cross draw holsters
• Serpa holsters
• Ankle holsters
• Behind-the-back holsters
…these are NOT allowed during live-fire portion of course. (Contact with questions.) I typically have holsters for almost ALL modern semi-automatic firearms. If not, I'll put you in one of my guns.
Pack snacks & bring water. There are no vending machines on the property.
ATTIRE: Range appropriate attire. We are INDOORS with AC/HEAT.
• Long pants are a good idea. Shorts are allowed.
• Closed-toe shoes (NON-NEGOTIABLE)
• High collared shirt (t-shirts are good, tank top or v neck is not).
• Brimmed ball cap or visor cap recommended but not required.
There are no refunds unless I am unable to teach.

If you are before the 72-hour mark, you may transfer to the next available class that has room.
If you cancel before the 48-hour mark, you may rebook to the next available class that has room for $50.
If you cancel within 24 hours of class start time, all registration fees are forfeited.
