Our first fabric swap shop event will take place on Saturday 27th September from 10-3 at our Shop - Old Holly Farm, Cabus Nook Lane, PR3 1AA
Here’s some information on how it will work:
Fabrics must not be less than 0.5m in length unless they are cotton fat quarters
All fabrics must be in perfect condition and labelled with the length, width and fabric type (if known), please also state if it has been pre washed if you know this information.
For each 1m length you bring, you will receive 1 token to swap for other fabrics within the fabric swap.
1 token = 1 metre (we will round up or down to the nearest metre)
Extra Tokens can be bought on the day for £3 each
This is a charity event with all money raised being donated to our chosen charity which will be St John's Hospice.
Fabrics can be brought on the day but ideally please drop off before hand so we have some time to organise and display.
Sewing patterns can also be brought to be swapped, these will be on a per token basis and extra tokens for patterns will be priced at £1.
We will also have a tombola, raffle and refreshments available throughout the day. The shop will also be open and our fabrics will also be available to purchase.
Please note that your tokens are only for use against the swap shop fabrics and not our general stock of fabrics.
