Join us at Barrow Underground Music Society (B.U.M.S) for an evening of creativity and expression as we come together to raise money for local Mental Health services.
Whether you're a seasoned poet or just starting out, this event is the perfect opportunity to share your work in a supportive environment. Come listen to fellow poets, snap your fingers, and enjoy the mental health benefits of spoken word!
The night will be hosted by local poet Caleb Staps, whose work explores themes of youth, modern life, and mental health. Caleb recently performed as support for Mike Garry and the Cassia String Quartet and has previously been heard on BBC Sounds & BBC Radio Cumbria.
All proceeds from the night will go to Mind in Furness, who work to ensure anyone in the Furness area with a mental health problem gets the help and support they deserve.
Let's come together to celebrate the beauty of poetry and support a great cause.
