Come on out to the 3rd Ward 4 Spring Celebration in Sunnidale Park! This is an excellent opportunity to get to know your neighbours and enjoy the fresh air and beautiful surroundings at Sunnidale Park.

What to Expect:
1. Live Acoustic Music: Don't miss this amazing opportunity to immerse yourself in the vibrant sounds of the talented acoustic musicians joining us in the park.
2. Family-Friendly Activities:
o Face Painting: Let your imagination run wild with colourful designs!
o Events: Challenge your family, friends, and neighbours to a fun game of Giant Jenga or kid-safe ‘axe-throwing’ courtesy of First Barrie Foresters Scout Troop!
o Food: Enjoy a picnic in the park with a light lunch and refreshments.
3. Community Connections:
Some of our confirmed vendors include:
o The City of Barrie will have staff available to answer questions about the upcoming waste pickup changes. They will samples of the new bins and offer education on composting.
o Barrie Public Library: Barrie Public Library’s BPL on the Go eTrike, with activities, games, and information about library services. You can also sign up for a library card on the spot!
o Redwood Park Communities: Learn how Redwood Park works to give everyone a safe, affordable, and hopeful place to call home as they launch this year’s YIMBY week.
o Firebird Community Cycle: Bring your bike! The amazing team at Firebird Community Cycle will be on site to offer instruction on minor bike tune-ups and sell pre-loved bikes. You can also donate outgrown kids' bikes or bikes you no longer use.
o The Furniture Bank accepts gently used furniture donations for marginalized families, helping them transform their new housing into homes.
