Hello Everyone,
I wanted to add more details as the event date creeps closer to happening.
The event starts at 1PM and will go until we're done, they close at 10PM and I know we'll be out of there by then.
My plans are to have a guestbook for people to write memories down in if they care to share so I can read them later. I will have pictures and decorations out, and plan to have drinks and refreshments --All Rick approved.
I don't expect speeches and such, but if anyone wants to share stories or say a few words, I won't say no.
I am also setting up a Jeopardy board as it was his favorite game show and I think it's a good way to celebrate him and a thing he loved. I will have some of his books there for guests to take home if they want to have a piece of him among their shelves, and a few DVD's I have no interest in watching.
There will also be music playing, a playlist curated by Mark and friends I've gathered from people.
This is a casual event, so please don't feel like anyone needs to dress up or in black, we want to remmeber him as he was --Jeans and a shirt kind of guy, movie/tv/radio theme encouraged.
