About Becca: Becca has studied the impacts of dams, land use, and climate change on rivers and estuaries for more than 30 years. Some of her achievements include contributions to the removal of the Klamath River Dams in California, co-authorship of the National Climate Adaptation Strategy, and mainstreaming mitigation of climate change effects at MassWildlife. She has helped develop policies to protect and restore aquatic ecosystems in California, Mexico, Germany, and Massachusetts. She now oversees the Conservation Science Program at MassWildlife’s Natural Heritage and Endangered Species Program where she recently played a lead role in the completion of the 2025 State Wildlife Action Plan. When she is not dreaming about fishes, she enjoys exploring with her tiny chihuahuas and expanding her garden.

Stone Cow Brewery is a farm brewery and restaurant located on the 1,000-acre Carter-Stevens Farm in Barre, Massachusetts. Operating out of a historic 1820s post & beam barn since 2016, Stone Cow Brewery has grown to become the centerpiece of the Carter-Stevens family's working dairy farm. They’re built on a deep belief that sharing farm-to-table food and drink with others is not only a sacred act but also serves the heart of any good community.
