Every year on August 31st, communities across the globe come together to remember the lives lost to overdose, support those left behind, and raise awareness to prevent future tragedies.
At the Axis I Center of Barnwell, this mission is at the heart of our work. We see firsthand the impact that substance use and overdose have on individuals and families. That’s why we’re proud to host our 2nd Annual Awareness @ the Park event — a space for healing, education, and community support.
Join us on Thursday, August 21, 2025, from 5:00pm–7:00pm at Fuller Park for this important event. Together, we honor those we've lost, uplift those still struggling, and work toward a future where no story ends too soon. 💜
