Dear MN Bear Guides,
This summer is flying by. Before you know it, we will be bear baiting. The Black Bear Show in Barnum is just around the corner July 25-27. The association voted to have a MBGA booth at the show and we will be in booth #5 building #2. We need volunteers to man the booth for the weekend as follows. Call, email or text (218-780-9296) if you can help fill one of the slots.
Friday Set-up & booth until 12:00 Dennis & Mimi U
12:00 to 4:00 pm volunteers needed
4:00 to 7:00 pm volunteers needed
Saturday 9:00 to 12:00 Josh F and Dennis U
12:00 to 4:00 volunteers needed
4:00 to 7:00 volunteers needed
Sunday 10:00 to 1:00 volunteers needed
1:00 to 5:00 Josh F and Dennis U Will do tear down afterwards
The MBGA will have a seminar at noon on Saturday titled “What to expect from a MN guided bear hunt". We will also be promoting the association. If you have a good picture of your operation to use in this presentation or at the booth send it to us. This could be trail camera, bear at bait or tasteful bear/hunter pics. If you have brochures to display you can bring them to the show or mail to us.
The guide's summer meeting will be held at the bear show fairgrounds on Saturday at 5:00 pm so come early so you can look around the show before the meeting.
We have bear tooth envelopes to distribute to the guides and passes for those that are working the booth.
Remember to ask for your MBGA 10% discount on bear bait from your local distributor.
