Mortehoe Scarecrow Festival 1st-4th August 2025

Friday 1st - Monday 4th August, 10am-4.30pm each day!
The theme for this years Mortehoe Scarecrow Festival is ''Hobbies & Pastimes'!
Start outside Mortehoe Museum ... collect your Trail Sheet from the gazebo in the Play Area then head off around Mortehoe Village to discover around 30 themed scarecrows that have been created by local businesses, organisations and residents to represent popular Hobbies and Pastimes. .
Trail sheets are £5 each (one per family is fine).
Once you have completed the trail, head back to the play area to have your sheet marked - all correct entries are entered in to a prize draw. And don't forget to vote for your favourite scarecrow (everyone can vote, not just the kids!)
Refreshments will be available (BBQ and Cakes!) in the Play Area, or the local shops, pubs and cafes will be open for lunch, drinks, snacks, ice-creams, etc.
There is ample parking - once the main village car park is full, there will be an overflow car park available.
