Working from the ground is a fantastic way to help horse’s who struggle with the environment around them. As a member of the TRT community I’ve taken inspiration from their exercises along side various other groundwork methods so we can help support them.
Even if your horse is confident working on the ground can be great fun and add further to your relationship with them.
By teaching them how to find relaxation in their own bodies we can help them build up confidence and start to regulate their own emotions.
It can be beneficial for all horses not just a horse with issues. It improves suppleness, helps you be more aware of your horses posture and how they move and a great way to build a stronger relationship between horse and owner.
Once a firm foundation is established we introduce environmental factors helping the horses deal better with the questions we ask of them in their daily lives.
The clinic is open to all levels, no previous experience required as you’ll be guided through the process. So if you’ve have never done any groundwork or TRT method before don’t let that stop you coming and having a great experience with your horse.
Sessions can progress to ridden once a solid base of groundwork has been established, transferring the tools you've developed into the saddle.

£65 for a 1hr Individual sessions (incl arena hire £20) at Codden Hill, Bishops Tawton EX23 0DX from 10am
Payment via bacs is required to confirm booking, a short form will then be sent out for you to fill in a brief description of your horse and previous experience.
Cancellation policy - no refund after 72hrs prior to the clinic. In event of adverse weather clinic will be postponed and money transferred to the next date or refunded.
