CAG Devon is teaming up with the Devon Rewilding Network for a joint learning day focused on community involvement in rewilding and nature recovery.

The morning session at Umberleigh Village Hall will feature talks from projects putting community at the heart of their work. An afternoon visit to a nearby rewilding project will follow where you'll see nature recovery in action, get stuck into something practical, and discuss the potential for nearby land to be rewilded as a community.

Throughout the day, we’ll look at different models for community‑led nature recovery - from land‑purchase approaches (including CICs), to working with town and parish councils, plus wider ways to empower local people to protect and restore nature.
