From 19 Sep to 17 Oct, 'Together Stories - Tales From The Community' is an exhibition at Studio-KIND. delivered in collaboration with Evolving Events CIC and Devon Mental Health Alliance, gathering powerful stories and creative narratives from diverse community groups in North Devon.
We will also be holding our flagship 'The Sound Lounge' sessions at Studio KIND. on the following Fridays from 4-5pm with the themes/prompts below. Please feel free to bring a song, instrument, poem, reading, anecdote, story or act with you.
19 Sep - 'Music & Sounds - From Talking Drum to Techno'
3 Oct - 'Friendship - Come Rain or Shine'
10 Oct - 'Nature - In Awe and Wonder'
17 Oct - 'Food - From Hunter to Gatherings'
'The Sound Lounge' is an informal, open-hearted gathering hosted by Evolving Events CIC as part of the Together Stories – Tales from the Community exhibition. Blending the spirit of an alternative open mic with creative play, it invites participants to share music, poetry, stories, objects, or simply listen and connect. Rooted in spontaneity and inclusion, this welcoming space encourages authentic expression and conversation, fostering community through shared creativity. The event runs on donations, with all contributions supporting future workshops and materials.
