Join us for an exciting weekend of kayak surfing in North Devon.
This is a fantastic opportunity to catch some waves, enjoy the early autumn weather and improve your skills. This is also an opportunity to prepare yourself for whitewater season.
We provisionally have two coaches for this trip so we can accommodate 8 people.
We are staying at Ocean Backpackers, Ilfracombe, EX34 9BJ
The club can supply kayaks, paddles, PFDs & helmets but very limited stock of spray decks & cags so ideally you will have your own personal kit- wetsuit, footwear, spray deck & cag or drysuit.
No previous experience in surf kayaking is required but to get most from the weekend you should be at Paddle Explore Award standard.
Trip cost is £175 including bunkhouse accommodation & coaching.
Deposit of £175 is required to secure your space.

Transport to the event is not included so we will need some willing volunteers to drive.
Refund policy:
- Once you pay for a trip and then decide not to go the cost is only refundable if you find another person to take your place
- coaching fee: refundable only if weather conditions do not permit the activity
- accommodation: the deposit for accommodation is non refundable
