Ken Loach and Kes: Exclusive book launch and Kes screening

The exclusive book launch of 'Ken Loach And Kes', edited by Ronnie Steele. Tickets are £20 each, and include a complimentary copy of the book as a keepsake (retail price: £11.95). After the book launch, there will be a free book signing session, and a screening of 'Kes'.

Acclaimed 'Kes' director, Ken Loach, has kindly recorded a introductory speech, which will begin the proceedings, and actors who appeared in the 1969 film will each read their own stories.
Between the readings, a few of the film’s most popular short clips (e.g. the football scene) will be shown, there will be live intrumental music by local professional musicians, and then a free book signing session by the authors, followed by a screening of the full 'Kes' feature.
