A Celebration of the Life of David Roberts

As you may be aware, my brilliant dad, David Roberts passed away last month. His death was a complete shock to us all and we can’t help feeling that he was taken from us too soon.

He has been cremated privately which was his wish, but he also wanted everyone to have one last drink on him to celebrate his life. If you knew my dad, George and I would like to invite you to celebrate my dad’s life with us.

It will take place at the Dodworth Miners Welfare Sports & Social Club on the 20th June. We will start at 2PM but feel free to come through at any time after that.

In a conversion we had and as left in his will, my dad left some very simple rules about his wake:

No wearing black
No ex wives
No crying and moping about

To honour David’s memory we will set the dress code: Shit shirts.
I will post some example photos in the group for anyone unsure what they are.
