"We turn 2": Coffee and Conversations - August 2025 edition

We will be turning two in August 2025! 🥳

2 years ago, James and Ying started hosting Coffee and Conversations, first at Slow Lane Cafe and now at our current home at Shingle Inn.

It all started with an idea and without your support, we wouldn’t be here 2 years later!

To thank you for your support, we are thinking of doing something special for our 2nd birthday.

It will probably, almost certainly, involve cake, but stay tuned.

And if you have only just discovered Coffee and Conversations, and are wondering what it’s all about, read on!
We found that lots of people come in and out of Gladstone and that makes it hard to make friends and get to know new people!

This means there are many in Gladstone who feel quite lonely. We know because we are some of those people!

So with the help of Shingle Inn Gladstone, Ying and James host a monthly Coffee and Conversations event.

Everyone is welcome. Come buy a coffee, meet new people, participate in some icebreaker activities and have a chat with other cool people just like you.

You never know who you will meet but chances are you will make some new friends!

Where: Shingle Inn Gladstone. At the entrance to the Mantra, corner Bell St and O’Connel St, Barney Point.
