🌟 Expression of Interest – Council of Women 🌟
Gladstone Women’s Health (GWH) is forming a Council of Women to advise on policy, advocacy, and promote our mission of supporting women and families in the Gladstone Region and Banana Shire.
We are excited to announce the formation of a Council of Women—a collaborative initiative to amplify women’s voices, fostering advocacy and driving systemic change through informed policy initiatives that align with the needs of the community.
The role of the Council is to assist and inform the Gladstone Women’s Health Centre’s (GWHC) Board and team in fulfilling the organisation’s mission, by:
• championing the rights and opportunities for women;
• supporting GWHC community engagement and inclusivity;
• identifying emerging issues and providing advice;
• sharing research insights; and
• contributing to strategic priority setting.
We are now seeking Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from individuals who are passionate about contributing their skills, experience, and vision to help shape this newly established Council.
Who should apply?
We welcome EOIs from women of all backgrounds who are engaged in their communities and eager to drive meaningful change. Whether your strength lies in advocacy, mentorship, policymaking, or community building, your voice is valued.
We’re looking for passionate members to help shape a safer, more equitable community.
