With fun activities set up in the grounds, along with arts and crafts, music playing on the sound system and exciting things to do, our Festival Friday sessions are designed to offer you a fun-filled afternoon in the beautiful grounds of the Hub. Bring the whole family and relax while the children enjoy painting, playing with water, parachute games, bubble making and dancing.
This week, we are delighted to welcome our friends from The Bowes Museum with a GIANT SQUISHY for everyone to enjoy decorating together!
Acclaimed artist, Pippa Hale is exhibiting at The Bowes Museum, inspired by the renowned ceramic collection which she has re-imagined into a vibrant and interactive experience for all ages. We will be decorating one of the larger-than-life, soft recreations of animal figurines that will then be displayed at the museum alongside a display of the original ceramics that inspired them and share their own cherished items with the community.
All are welcome. Children must be accompanied by adults (and vice versa!) and everyone needs a ticket. These activities take place in the grounds of TCR Hub unless otherwise stated. More details will be available for the content of each session in the coming weeks.
It costs £6 per person but those under 2 years come for free. A group ticket for 4 costs £20.
