Witham Youth Theatre Juniors

Shakespeare’s magical tale of redemption and forgiveness, The Tempest tells the story of the sorcerer Prospero, who with the help of the spirit Ariel, shipwrecks the King of Naples on a deserted island in order to reclaim his Dukedom. Prospero’s daughter Miranda falls in love with the King’s Son Ferdinand, and the King’s drunken jester and butler try to claim the island for themselves at the behest of the monster Caliban.
