About the event

The Descent
The Descent 10k - fast, exciting …. and it’s downhill all the way. A beautiful and scenic course that takes you from the top of Scammondon to the finish in West Vale, over 300 metres below.
​
Our speedy downhill course is well marked and chip timed. It’s perfect for runners of all levels, whether you're a seasoned pro or a first-time racer.

Registration is between 18:00 to 18:50. We then jump on the bus at 19:00 to take us to the start, start as soon as we reach the top … then run back down the hill.
