ReadFest 2025: Poet’s Book of Hours with Anna Robinson

A Book of Hours is a traditional aid to the hours of the day traditionally used for prayer. How might we contemplate our routines - the ways we spend every day!

Using a mix of writing, embroidery, and printmaking, we will make a book that explores beauty of the everyday and ourselves. Through a mixture of writing exercises and craft activities, we will construct, write and illustrate our own Japanese stab-bound books.

Led by poet, Anna Robinson, this will be a taster workshop followed by a full day workshop in October. Materials provided but feel free to bring fabric, pictures, threads or buttons you would like to use.

Booking is essential and you will be asked to present your booking confirmation upon arrival.
