The Diagnostic Nexus: With Updated Management of Thyroid Diseases
Join us for an insightful day of learning, interaction and hands-on experience at The Diagnostic Nexus, organized by Sher-E-Bangla Medical College Local Committee (SBMC LC), BMSS in collaboration with the Institute of Nuclear Medicine & Allied Sciences (INMAS).
This program aims to bridge the gap between theory and practice by offering undergraduate medical students a rare opportunity to explore diagnostic imaging and nuclear medicine procedures directly at INMAS. Participants will gain practical exposure to thyroid scans, thyroid uptake tests, bone mineral density (DEXA) scans, ultrasonography and SPECT-CT imaging. Alongside, there will be expert-led sessions on radiology fundamentals and updated management of thyroid diseases.
Through interactive workshops, real-time presentations and interpretation challenges, students will sharpen their diagnostic skills, enhance clinical competence and broaden their professional perspective beyond textbooks.
