✨ Cranbrook Small Business Social & Networking Evening ✨
Since starting our little family-run business back in December, we’ve learnt first-hand just how tricky it is to get the word out locally. Without the budget for big billboards or endless Facebook ads, we rely on good old-fashioned word of mouth and community support.
But here’s the reality – our posts often get lost in busy local Facebook groups, adverts are sometimes rejected, or there are only certain days and times we’re allowed to share. It can be really disheartening.
Then we met Megan from Walk This Way Dog Care – a one-woman whirlwind, passionate about championing small businesses. The connection we’ve made with her has been a total game-changer. We promote each other’s services, hand out each other’s flyers, and genuinely root for one another – and it’s made such a difference.
It made us wonder – how many other local businesses in Cranbrook feel the same way?
Wouldn’t it be brilliant to get together, celebrate what we do, and come up with ideas for local events – Christmas markets, table-top sales, fundraisers, expos… or just have a good old chat?
So, we’re inviting you to our very first Small Business Social Evening.
Come along for a relaxed midweek evening, meet other local business owners, share ideas, and enjoy a glass of fizz or two. Whether you’re in pets, beauty, craft, food, fitness, services or something else entirely – everyone’s welcome.
Running a small business can feel lonely at times – but it really doesn’t have to. Let’s build something lovely together.

📍 Venue: To be confirmed – we’ll choose somewhere local to EX5 once we have a better idea of numbers
