Tea Time & Learning with Sarah Janisse Brown
Originally I was going to focus on Dyslexia , but I’ve learned so much on my journey about creating an environment for any type of neurodivergent learner! Let’s dig into Helping Children with challenges like Dyslexia, ADHD & Autism to Thrive: A Gentle, Creative Approach to Life and Learning
Date: August 9, 2025
Time: 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Raising a child with challenges can feel overwhelming at times—but you are not alone. Join me for an afternoon designed to uplift and equip mothers who are walking this path with love, perseverance, and hope.
Over a peaceful tea time with a custom calming tea blend for each guest, I’ll share our family’s journey with dyslexia—how we moved away from stress and struggle toward a life of joy-filled learning through creativity, patience, and faith.
Together we’ll talk about:
• Recognizing the unique strengths of children with challenges
• Making learning fun and effective without pressure
• Using Brain Games and Dyslexia Games and alternative strategies to build confidence
• How to trust your instincts as a mother and teacher
• Creating a peaceful home learning rhythm that works for neurodivergent children
You’ll leave with practical tools, encouragement, and a renewed sense of peace in your homeschool journey or afterschool efforts.
