Currituck Private Pesticide Applicator V Training August 2025

NC Cooperative Extension in Currituck County is pleased to announce an opportunity for our Private Pesticide Applicators to earn V credits for their Private Pesticide Applicator License. Our next V credit opportunity will be offered on Wednesday, August 20th from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at the Currituck Extension Center. We look forward to seeing you.  This training will cover the V credit portion of the private applicator license which is required every three years. This will be presented by Chris Hassell, NCDA&CS Pesticide Inspector II. Please register for this event through Eventbrite.

Pesticide license holders with North Carolina Private Pesticide Applicator licenses set to expire in 2025 need to receive 2 hours of X credit and 2 hours of V credit by the NCDA&CS cut-off date of Sept. 30th, 2025. License holders have 3 years to receive their credits and can search the Dept. of Agriculture’s website or call the Extension office to check how many credits you have for the current license period. The 2025 Northeast Ag Expo Summer Field Day will be July 31st from 8:00 am - 1:00 pm and you will have the opportunity to receive 2 hours of X credit on attendance.
