Animals in the Wild

Calling all young explorers! Youth ages 8-14 are invited to a fun and educational wildlife workshop on June 26th from 9am- 12pm where they will dive into the world of environmental science and animal survival. This interactive event will explore how animals adapt to their environments, including the role of camouflage and the fascinating lives of different bear species.

Through hands-on activities and engaging lessons, participants will gain a deeper understanding of the natural world and the incredible ways wildlife thrives in their habitats. This is a perfect opportunity for young nature lovers to expand their knowledge and appreciation for the environment.

There is a registration fee of $5.00. Payment can be made with a credit card via Eventbrite, or cash/check payable to NCSU. Checks and cash can be delivered to the Currituck Extension Office at 120 Community Way, Barco, NC 27917 within 5 days of registration.

All participants must also be enrolled in 4-H Online for the 2025 program year; the link to that portion of the registration process is https://v2.4honline.com/
