The Great Pollinator Count
Mellie can’t wait for this year’s annual pollinator count. She and her best friend Sylvie are hoping to find even more insect pollinators in their school garden than they did last year. But when Ms. Bombus, their science club advisor, pairs Mellie with the insect-hating Jason, how will she possibly reach her goal?
As they work together to observe, identify, and count the honeybees, butterflies, and other insects that help flowers produce seeds and fruit, Mellie and Jason discover the rewards of teamwork in community science.
