Bantry Library Invites you to the launch of 'Come Sit Awhile Volume 2'.
📚 Bantry Library invites you to the launch of 'Come Sit Awhile, Volume 2', a collection of dementia friendly stories.
The launch will take place, Friday July 11 at 1.00pm in Bantry Library. No booking required and all are welcome to attend.

A number of readings will take place as part of the event, including the winning entries from our Age Friendly short story competition. Fiona Foley, Senior Project Manager at the HSE’s National Dementia Office with responsibility for “Dementia: Understand Together” and “Brain Health”, will also speak at the event to highlight the value of reading and being read to for those living with dementia.
