Group Games

Group Games are one thing I did not want my kids to miss out being homeschooled. First of all they are super fun, they are ice breakers and help kids make friends. Everyone belongs and is accepted as everyone is expected to join in or try by watching. They all get something in common and there is no pressure to have a conversation. They get to know one another. They have also been found to help children develop resiliency, leadership skills and confidence. They also get children exercising in a fun way which raises endorphines and serotonin which makes people feel good. These games are being held in a hall with a fabulous outdoor area including an undercover area so they can occur rain, hail or shine. This allows for regular meet ups and kids really need those regular meet ups to form strong friendships.

Fees help to create commitment. The fees include hall hire and materials. I am a games queen, I love to play and invent new games. i also love to learn new games from the kids so they too get a chance to teach a game. Chinderah is only 10mins from Coolangatta, 15 mins from Currumbin. I will love to see you there.

7 and under must be supervised by parents, all other ages can be dropped off. Teens may wish to attend the Homeschool Youth group that starts afterwards, it also has games. It is at 4:30 because of the hall availability and it makes it easier for me to then run the Youth group afterwards .... and teens love evening/ night gatherings. Keeps the day free for other homeschool events 😆.
