DRAWING WORKSHOP

Have you ever wanted to work as an artist developing cartoon characters for a cartoon strip, animation or for gaming? Want to create your own rampaging monster?

Learn cartooning skills to draw invented creatures. We will go through playful drawing exercises to gain skills and confidence. Pick a body shape and add spines, and horns. Learn to draw hairy monsters and zombies in action. Create your own characters that you send on adventures.

Beginners are very welcome, no drawing experience needed. See what you can create! Skills covered:

• Drawing expressive facial features: Noticing how the face changes with emotions
• Character Design
• Brainstorming, Ideas, Inspiration for characters & stories
• Making a French fold comic book

Terms and Conditions

This activity is for young people who live or study within Canterbury-Bankstown LGA.

Adults not part of the program are not permitted to stay onsite throughout the duration of the activity, this includes parents and guardians.

Cancellation Policy

If you can no longer attend the activity, registered participants must notify YnlyYyB8IGNiY2l0eSAhIG5zdyAhIGdvdiAhIGF1 in writing, no less than 48-hours prior to the event taking place, in order to receive a full refund.

No shows or cancellations received after this 48-hour period are not eligible for any refund.

ABOUT BYRC

Belmore Youth Resource Centre (BYRC) is a free safe space for young people aged 12-18 run by Canterbury-Bankstown Council. We have youth workers who are here to support young people, as well as delivering various programs and services. For more information visit cb.city/byrc
