As I walked Out

Giles Shenton presents "As I Walked Out", performed by ARKangel through violin, classical guitar and voice. Laurie Lee’s epic teenage walk from his Cotswold home into the jaws of the Spanish Civil War.

The show offers a "feast of flamenco passion". The passion and plaintiveness of the music beautifully reflect the themes of adventure, loss and the futility of war.
