Romance Author Signings & Bookstore Romance Day at The Briar Patch

Calling all romance lovers! We have a great day devoted to romance literature planned for Saturday, Aug. 9, 2025, and we hope you’ll join us! It’s Bookstore Romance Day and while we want to say some plot twists for the day of, we want you to know there will be specials, giveaways and even some romance author signings at The Briar Patch that day.

ABOUT THE BRIAR PATCH
For more than 35 years, The Briar Patch has inspired and delighted generations of readers of all ages in Bangor, Maine. Specializing in children's books and creative playthings from birth through high school, the shop also carries grownup books including fiction, cookbooks, titles on parenting, resources for teachers and more. Games, crafts, puzzles, and more fill the store with something for everyone. We also host regular book signings, storytimes and other events.
