FREE-FORM: Tradition & Transition
The concert from TYOY that combines cultures and features artists from various backgrounds, where artists will collaborate to create a unique performance of sounds, movements and visuals that they can imagine.
A journey and exploration of the possibilities of sonic art in Northeastern folk music, classical instruments, modular synthesizers, interactive movement/dance performances and visual art by TYOY ensemble, featuring guest composers/performers: Minami Takei (percussion/Japan), Dirk Johan Stromberg (fryprone/USA) from LASALLE College of the Arts, Singapore, Teerus Laohverapanich (saxophone) from Conservatory of Music, Rangsit University, Phakphoom Tiavongsuvan (e.guitar) from College of Music, BSRU including Pakhamon Hemachandra and Napasorn Setasartit, two talented choreographers.
The audience will experience a variety of performances from improvisation and new compositions.
