Welcome to Kimmo Kauko’s exhibition and book signing at the Photohostel & Photocafe!
Location: maps.app.goo.gl/gZPQ73jqFCkeeJZT8?
This is the fourth time Kimmo is having a Cinema After Dark exhibition and the first time outside of The Friese-Greene Club. This time it will be at the wonderful Photohostel & Photocafe in Taiyuan building Talat Noi.
Kimmo’s photo book Cinema After Dark got published by Italian publishing house 89books.
The exhibition will feature images by photographer Kimmo Kauko, taken at The Friese-Greene Club during the nine last year.
What started as a one-off photo shoot became a passion which led Kauko to regularly return and to explore the subconscious connection between himself, the environment, and his models.
The product of these many hours of photography has led to a unique collection of work, which the Photohostel & Photocafe is delighted to host in this special exhibition.
Kimmo's work is provocative and fresh, but often harkens back to a mysterious past where sensuality exists in the shadows. Both visually and emotionally, Cinema After Dark will take you on a profound and cinematic journey.
This time, the exhibition will also feature interactive projector screening where the guests can take their own Cinema After Dark style pictures.
Swedish/Finnish photographer based in Bangkok. With a lifelong passion for film and a BA in Film studies, Kauko has been exploring the medium of photography in the past ten years.
