Ready to design a yard that feels intentional and beautifully balanced? This beginner-friendly workshop will guide you through the foundations of landscape design and help you start creating a plan tailored to your own space.
What you'll learn:
- Principles of design (unity, balance, scale, rhythm, and form)
- Colour theory and plant material function
- The step-by-step design process: site analysis, base maps, bubble diagrams, and concept planning
- How to confidently select plant material
You’ll also begin sketching ideas for your own yard during class, with guided instruction and time for questions.
What to bring:
- A real property report or
- A sketch of your yard with basic measurements
We will photocopy it for you so you can sketch directly on the copy during the workshop.
