Join us for an evening of creativity, intention-setting, and community as we welcome the new year! This isn’t your average vision board session—we are diving deep into the art of collage with special guest Teri Henderson, founder of Black Collagists.
Whether you are looking to manifest your goals for 2026 or simply want to explore a new artistic medium, this event offers a space to unplug from the digital world and connect with others. We believe that anyone can collage, and through this democratic and tactile medium, we can create something whole and beautiful from disparate pieces. Come ready to arrange, reconfigure, and ground yourself in a meditative art practice that celebrates both individual vision and collective spirit.
What to Expect:
Teri Henderson (b. 1990) is a Baltimore-based independent curator, author, and arts editor dedicated to highlighting the voices of Black, brown, and queer creatives. In 2020, she founded the global platform @blackcollagists, a digital archive and community that amplifies the work of Black collage artists worldwide. Her research culminated in the acclaimed publication, Black Collagists: The Book (2021).
Henderson serves as the Operations Manager at Charm City Cultural Cultivation. Her curatorial expertise has been tapped by prestigious institutions, including the National Museum of Women in the Arts, the Baltimore Museum of Art, and the Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A).
