#TwoTapes: A Deep Listening About Love

Join Travis and Being at the one-of-one Waller Gallery for a lush listening experience featuring their new audio collection #TwoTapes, an intimate playback of their meditations on what it takes to relate.

An analogue cypher accompanied with green sounds, floor seating and warm light, the #TwoTapes sessions are geared to engage our shared need to stop, sit, and listen. Together.

Attention is the deepest expression of love. #TwoTapes deep listening sessions aim to nurture a collective capacity for experiencing audio on purpose, bending the gallery space into a capsule for listening to audio like you would listen to a lover.

Lots of black american culture reference

This is the perfect event to gather a group of friends, beloveds, partners, –and not be messy, but invite your exes.

This event is designed to leave folks feeling more equipped to relate, where we are learning and practicing self-consideration and respect for our feelings as the beginnings of solidarity with the parts of ourselves that are rendered unwelcome in both public and intimate space, as measured by our proximity to those of us who are most harmed by the current social arrangement.

This is including but not limited to black trans people, black femmes, palestinian people, people experiencing disability, and people with tentative immigration status.

This is a mask-friendly event.
