Total Eclipse

Total Eclipse is a contemporary jazz double bill featuring two of the most exciting musical groups Baltimore has to offer. Taking place at the Bogus Gallery located in the iconic Copy Cat building, this show fits the ethos of Baltimore's industrious DIY community.

Hunter, Koray, and Zulfugar are a trio of improvisers with one foot in fusion, jazz, and funk, and the other foot in outspace. This high-energy group straddles this line, playing mind-bending impromptu compositions that expand horizons.

Justin Taylor is a pianist who effortlessly captivates audiences with a sound both soulful and sophisticated. His mastery of his instrument and passion for his craft make him a true standout in the industry. He is joined by his band of excellent players, elevating JT's sound and character.

After the live music, DJ HappyJack will keep the party going, playing groovy tunes from the past and present.

About the artists:

Justin Taylor began his musical journey in the churches of his hometown, Baltimore. Upon graduating from Towson University, he toured the West Coast with a nascent R&B group where he developed a rich and versatile sound. Upon returning to Baltimore, he has refined his technique and catalog, becoming one of Baltimore's most sought-after Jazz pianists.
